INTEGRATED
CranioSacral Biodynamics

“Craniosacral” is a term that is derived from the words cranium and sacrum.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and restore health throughout the body. Franklyn Sills, an osteopath, was inspired by the work of Garner Sutherland and developed this holistic approach in the 70s.

The foundation of CST is that throughout our lives as a result of injury or illness, we store an array of unhealthy patterns deep down in our bodies. Symptoms and causes of such patterns can be both physical and psychological.

However, each body – even when ill - carries the memory of how it functions when healthy. CranioSacral Biodynamic therapy consists of using soft touches to facilitate the process of releasing blockages from the craniosacral system, and to improve the function of the central nervous system.

How does it work?

Patients often report feelings of deep relaxation during and after the session, and a clear-headed sensation.

In my practice, I integrate CST to work on the autonomic nervous system and help rid the mind and body of the residual effects of emotional wounds and trauma.
